GEO City Disaster Project: Nov. 1

GEO students will soon begin to work on their second - and, last - assignment for Term 1: City Disaster Project. Students will be required to research a city at risk of a specific natural hazard and come up with a "before and during" plan for that city to prepare/deal with a possible natural disaster. There will be some time provided in class to research and organize this assignment on Wed. Oct. 16 and Fri. Oct. 25. If more time is needed, students will have to complete the project at home. All that needs to be handed in is the double sided project sheet. The due date is Friday, November 1. Late work will be subject to a mark penalty. Because the term ends in early November, no late work will be accepted after Thursday, November 7.
