GEO UNESCO Natural Heritage Project
Students have started working on the most important project of Term 2. Each group - one, two or three students - has chosen a UNESCO Natural World Heritage site. They will need to research the site, prepare a Powerpoint slideshow, and present in front of the class. Slideshows need to be sent to or shared with jfoster@wqsb.qc.ca by Wednesday, December 3 at the latest. Presentations will happen on Monday, December 8 and Wednesday, December 10. GEO First Geo Masters Quiz: Nov. 24
On Monday, November 24 students will write Level 1 of Geo Masters. Level 1 requires students to correctly label a world map with the seven continents and five oceans.


HIS Test on Chapter 3: Nov. 27
The next HIS test will happen on Thursday, November 27. Pages 86-121 of the blue workbook will be covered.


GEO Test on Natural Park: Nov. 26
Wednesday, November 26 will be the date of the next GEO test. It will be based on pages 2 to 29 in the Natural Park workbook.


Last HIS and GEO quiz rewrite on Nov. 5
For students that missed the quizzes last week and did not go to the rewrites last Friday (Oct. 31) or this Monday (Nov. 3), there will be one last opportunity to get caught up: Wednesday, November 5 at 1:00 PM in Room 229.
