HIS 213 Test Rewrites
Students who were absent from today's HIS test on the Renaissance need to get caught up on one of the following days: Thursday, January 29 (tomorrow) OR Monday, February 2 at 11:50 AM in Room 229. Students who miss tests and do not attempt rewrites will receive a mark of ZERO, so please make sure you get caught up if you were away, OK?


GEO 103 Energy Test
The test on the Energy Production will be on Tuesday, February 3, and will cover pages 2 to 31.


HIS 213 Renaissance (Chapter 1) Test
The Renaissance Test will happen on Wednesday, January 28. It will cover pages 12 to 35 in the History of the World workbook.


HIS 213 Term 2 Presentation Change
Before the holidays, I informed students that they would have to plan and carry out a presentation based on an event or a famous person from Ancient Greece or Rome. I've experienced some technical issues on my end , plus I don't think that having students plan and present as planned in the next week or so would be fair to them in terms of giving them enough time to do a great job, so I have switched the topic of the presentation to a famous person from the Renaissance and th


HIS 213 Upcoming Assignments and Dates
We are just about to start learning about the Renaissance. This means we'll be switching to a new workbook: History of the World 2. (It is a follow-up to the workbook we used before the holiday, but the new book is red, not blue.) A test on Chapter 1 will happen on Wednesday, January 28. On Monday February 2 (24 group), Tuesday, February 3 (25 group) and Wednesday, February 4 (both groups), students will do an autobiographical presentation on a famous person of the Renais


GEO 103 Upcoming Assignments, Dates
We have already started our next unit: Energy Production . The major test for this unit will happen on Tuesday, February 3. The next two Geo Masters test dates are as follows: Tuesday, January 13 and Tuesday, January 20. (There will be at least one more Geo Master test before the end of Term 2, but I have not settled on a date yet.) There will also be a small, in-class assignment on the topic of energy.
