GEO students have started watching the BBC documentary, "The Magical Forest." There is an accompanying worksheet that students need to complete. This will be due on Friday, March 13. (Students who miss part or all of the video in class can get caught up on their own time, whether that means watching the video and/or answering the questions.)

Rewrites for students who missed this week's GEO and HIS tests will be offered on the following dates: today (Thursday, Feb. 26), Tuesday, March 10 and Thursday, March 12, in Room 229 at 11:50 AM. Students who miss tests and fail to get caught up will receive a mark of zero.

We have already done eight Geo Masters tests, and we are likely to do at least another five or six. These will resume on Wednesday, March 11. I was supposed to give a Geo Masters test last Friday, but with the Forests test coming up this week and various live events being televised at the Winter Olympics, I decided to delay it.

The next History test will happen this coming Wednesday. Students are responsible for pages 47 to 71.

The test on the Forests workbook will happen this coming Tuesday, The test will cover pages 2 to 25. Students were informed of this test in class last week.

Students who missed the HIS test last Wednesday can rewrite the test today at lunch. For GEO students who miss tomorrow's test on Energy and for HIS students who do not take advantage of today's rewrite, the final rewrite days will this Thursday, February 5 and Thursday, February 12. Term marks must be entered shortly thereafter, so I cannot offer rewrite opportunities beyond this final date.
