GEO 103-11 students will have their second quiz on Thursday, October 8. The quiz will cover pages 12 to 27 in the Natural Hazard workbook.

HIS Quiz 2 will cover pages 48 to 63 in the History of the World workbook. For the 213-20 and 22 groups, the quiz will happen on Wednesday, October 7. For the HIS 213-21 group, it will be on Thursday, October 8.

In addition to this past Friday and tomorrow (Monday, September 28), there will be a final opportunity for GEO and HIS students to write their quiz on Wednesday, September 30, if they missed it last week. As with all rewrites, the time is at the beginning of lunch, and the place is my classroom (229). Please remember that not writing a quiz or test on the original day, and then failing to do it on one of the multiple rewrite days offered will result in a mark of ZERO.

Students who missed their HIS or GEO quiz yesterday or today can write their quiz on Friday, September 25 or Monday, September 28 at the beginning of lunch in Room 229. Students are always given multiple chances to make up missed tests; however, after one week rewrite options will no longer be offered and the result will be zero.

GEO students will have their first quiz on Wednesday, September 23. Students were informed of the quiz during the first week of school. All questions will be short answer-style, and questions will be based on the following workbook pages: Maps and Sketches: 36-39 and Natural Hazards: 2-11.

HIS students will have their first quiz on Wednesday, September 23 (HIS 213-21) or Thursday, September 24 (HIS 213-20,22). (Students were informed of the quiz during the first week of school.) All questions will be short answer, and they will be based on pages 2 - 21 in the blue History of the World workbook.

The Compass Rose Project is due on Thursday, September 17.

The Personal Timeline Project is due on Monday, September 21.
