Uninterrupted Teaching Time
Because exams are just around the corner, we will soon be entering uninterrupted teaching time at Symmes and D'Arcy McGee. Students should be learning in class, and we want to minimize the numbers of students in the hallways during class time. Students are expected to use the bathroom and get water before or after class, not during class. GEO Project Work Periods and Due Date
GEO students - in groups of one, two or three - are about to start a PowerPoint and presentation project on a UNESCO cultural heritage site. (This is similar to a project done in December.) The following dates have been set aside for in-class research and work. Any work that is incomplete - either on the slideshow or practicing the presentation - should be done on their own time. GEO 15 work periods will be on April 21 and 29. GEO 16 work periods will occur on April 23 a

HIS 213 Chapter 4 Test: May 8
The HIS test on the Industrial Revolution will happen on Friday, May 8.

Make up chances for today's missed HIS tests
Students who missed today's HIS test need to get caught up this week, or face a result of zero. There will be HIS test rewrite opportunities today (Monday, April 13 ) at the beginning of lunch in Room 229, and on Friday, April 17, same place and same time...

Next GEO Geo Masters: April 22
The next Geo Masters (GM) test will happen on Wednesday, April 22. This will probably be the second last GM of the year, so hopefully students will take the necessary time to prepare if they want to get to the next level.

GEO Industry Test Make Up Days
Students who missed this past Wednesday's GEO test must write the test on Monday, April 13 or Tuesday, April 14 in Room 229 at the very beginning of lunch. As with other tests this year, the result will be zero if the test remains unwritten, so it is important that students who were absent for the original test date come to one of the two rewrite opportuni ties.
