GEO 103 "Location, location, location!" project

The major project for Term 3, "Location, location, location" will be introduced to all GEO students tomorrow, March 20. It is due to be submitted and presented on Thursday, April 24 and Friday, April 25. There will be at least two class periods set aside for students to work on this project. (The first one happens next week!) It is connected to what we have been learning about in the Industrial Territories workbook for the past couple of weeks. Students - in groups of one, two or three - will create their own company and invent a product that they will make in a factory or processing facility. This project is supposed to be fun and allows students to be creative, while at the same time teaching them a little bit about how the business world works...
